Patsy George Van Ostran

Patsy George Van Ostran, age 78, of Avon Park, FL passed away Friday, June 27, 2025 in Sebring, Florida.  She was born on September 27, 1946 in Sandersville, GA to the late Hoyt and Lessie (Marsh) George.  Patsy had been a resident since 1985 coming from Marshallville, GA; was a member of Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church, and worked for Ben Hill Griffin as a fruit accountant.  She liked to play Bingo, was very active in her church, and loved to watch University of Georgia football.  Pasty is survived by her Daughters – Dana Kellis (Paul) of Cumming, GA and Stephanie Gillotti of Avon Park, FL; Sister – JoAnn Young of GA; Grandchildren – Nathan Kellis (Amanda), Lauren Kellis, and Kendall Gillotti; Great-Grandchildren – Jake, Bennett, Amelia; Sister-in-law – Charlene Schouwenaars; and several nieces and nephews.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband – Stephen Van Ostran and two brothers.  Visitation will be held, Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park.  A Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 11:00am at Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church.  Entombment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.  Memorial contributions may be made to Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church.
