Patricia B. Twomey

Patricia Baskin Twomey passed away Friday, November 4, 2016 at her residence with her husband by her side.  She was the daughter of Earl and Lottie Baskin of Risco, Missouri where she grew up.  She moved to St. Louis at the age of 16 and attended Southeast Missouri State University at Cape Girardeau, Missouri, receiving a degree in business administration.  She was president of her sorority.  Pat had a passion for bridge, was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Sebring, FL and was active in church activities, as well as in scholarship activates supporting SEMO and the Methodist Church.  She was an elder of the Presbyterian church and was PEO president for the state of Kentucky from 1995-96, Murray, KY Chapter from 1982-84 and Sebring Chapter from 2005-07.  She was also president of the PTA at Lincoln elementary school.  She is survived by her husband of 66 years Jack Twomey, Sebring, FL, sons-Wayne Twomey (Chris), Massachusetts; Tom Twomey (Janet), Michigan; sister-Jody, Texas and four grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her son Keith, her parents, and brother Robert Earl.  Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Sebring’s general scholarship fund, 126 S. Pine Street, Sebring, FL  33870.  A memorial service will be held Monday, November 14, 2016 at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church in Sebring, FL
