Patricia R. Raczkowski

Patricia Ruth Raczkowski 90 years old. Born July 22, 1922 to Emma S. and Jesse J. Porter in Marianna, Florida. Graduated Crystal River High School in 1941. Worked at Wainwright Shipyard in Panama City, Florida during World War II. Later served in the United States Air Force, Pope Field, North Carolina, 1945 moved to Avon Park, Florida, 1949 graduated from Orange County Beauty College, Orlando, Florida. 1978 graduated from South Florida Junior College, Practical Nursing, Avon Park, Florida. Retired from nursing at Royal Care Nursing Home 1991. She taught Sunday School Senior Ladies since the early 50's and Charter Member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. Family members: two sons-Don "Rod" (Barbara) and Dennis "Ski" (Kimmi) Raczkowski, Avon Park, Florida; four grandchildren: Trisha and husband Gabe Crespo of Naples, Jennifer Robinson of Sebring, Josh and wife Becky Raczkowski of Orlando, Jessica Huerta-Garcia of Avon Park. 12 great-grandchildren. Two sisters-Stella McGinniss of Sarasota, Joy Hunter of Walhulla, South Carolina and three nieces, four great nieces and three great nephews. Memorial services Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. R.L. Oquinn officiating.
