Patricia Anne Plante

Patricia Anne Plante, 89, known to everyone as Grammy Pat, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026 at the Good Shepard Hospice in Sebring, Florida. She was born on December 30, 1936, to Margaret (Perry) and Ralph Linwood Winslow in Freeport, Maine. She grew up in Yarmouth, Maine. She attended North Yarmouth Academy, where she graduated as valedictorian of the class of 1955. After high school she attended Maine Medical Center School of Nursing graduating in 1958. She worked in the nursing field throughout her life.

She married Ronald Plante in 1960 and had three children. Grammy Pat enjoyed traveling and once rode a camel in Morrocco! She liked solving crossword puzzles and Sudoku. She liked watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, shouting out the answers when she them. She was a master Scrabble player.

She is preceded in death by parents and maternal grandparents, Thomas and Macrina Perry, who she dearly loved.

She is survived by daughter Kathy, her husband Jeffrey, son Tom, his wife Julie and son Joseph. In addition to her three children, she is survived by three granddaughters, Kelly, Kristen and Sara as well seven great grandchildren, Alaina, Joseph, Jackson, Jace, Olivia, Grayson and Jacob.

A private celebration of her life will be held by the family at a later date.
