Patricia Ann Hopson

Patricia Ann Hopson, age 82, of Lake Placid, FL passed away Monday, August 3, 2015. She was born September 14, 1932 in Avon Park, FL to Forest and Maggie (Delaney) Mathis. Patricia grew up in Avon Park, FL and played sports while attending Avon Park High School. She was of Baptist Faith, enjoyed nature and spent time outdoors swimming, camping, and fishing with her husband and family, and has been a lifelong resident of Highlands County. Survivors include her Son - Roger; and eight daughters - Sandra, Patti, Darlene, Connie, Vicki, Becky, Brenda, and Alane; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Husband- Brady Hopson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 5:00 PM with a visitation starting at 4:30 PM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Bougainvillea Cemetery.
