PATRICIA A BROGDON

Patricia Ann Brogdon, 84, passed away on April 4, 2020, at the Manor at Lake Jackson memory care facility in Sebring, FL.  She was born January 5, 1936, in Key West, FL, the daughter of Lyle and Etta Gibson Lewin.

Pat graduated from Key West High School in 1953 and married James Brogdon in 1955.  They ran Brogdon’s Photography together for many years. In 2005 they moved from Key West to central Florida where she was a member of the Avon Park Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, James, of 65 years, her daughters, Cheryl Cooper of Tallahassee and Melanie (Kevin) Jonas of Sebring, and grandsons, Daniel Jonas of Parkersburg, WV, Matthew Jonas of Sebring, FL, and Adam Jonas of Columbus, OH.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Burial will be at the Bougainvillea Cemetery in Avon Park, Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Avon Park Church of Christ at 200 S Forest Avenue, Avon Park, FL 33825, or to the Manor at Lake Jackson at 2301 US Highway 27 S, Sebring, FL 33870, where she was cared for since May of 2019.
