Patricia Ann Best

The family of Patricia Ann Best is saddened to announce her death on March 13, 2026, in Sebring, Florida. Patricia was born to Frank and Vivian Hammond on November 24, 1936, in Kearny, New Jersey.

Patricia was survived by her sons; Charles (wife Donna) Best and David (wife Trish) Best, daughter; Teddi (husband Kent) Keefer, grandmother to Kim Best Zahller, Julie Best, Chuck Best Jr., Kristin Dilley Lockwood, Andy Dilley, Brandi Best and Zach Best, great grandmother to Seth, Bailey, Aaron, Connor, Aiden, Noelle, Parker and Emmerson. She was preceded in death to her loving husband Theodore (Ted) Best and both parents.

Patricia in her leisurely activities included golf, watching the Florida Gators and enjoying time with her grandchildren. She was a master Quilter and a prominent member of the Highlands County Quilt Guild and a Chairwoman of the Woman’s Republican Party of Broward County.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, 11:00 am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church 595 E Main Street, Avon Park, FL 33825

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church or Good Shepherd Hospice House.
