Patria Elena Soto

Patria "Patty" Elena Soto, 71, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on May 7, 2025, in Sebring, Florida. Born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico to the late Pablo Roldan and Patricia Valentin, Patty's life was a beautiful testament of love, faith, and dedication. A longtime resident of Sebring since 2002, Patty embraced her community and was a member of various churches with the last one being Iglesia Cristiana Impacto De Dios. Before embarking on a life of service alongside her husband in the military, she made a meaningful impact as a social worker in Puerto Rico, guided by compassion and a deep commitment to helping others. Patty found joy in the simple pleasures—her love for laughter, worship music, and a warm cup of coffee reflected her vibrant spirit. She loved traveling, and her time in Europe was especially dear to her, creating cherished memories while supporting her husband’s service. She is survived by her husband, Jose Soto Valle; her children, Diana Soto and Jose Soto; her sister, Ivette Roldan; and her beloved granddaughter, Elykah Soto. Patty’s life was one of unwavering faith, kindness, and joy—a legacy that will forever be treasured in the hearts of her loved ones. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 3:30pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:30pm. The burial will take place at Sarasota National Cemetery.
