Pamela J. Elders

Pamela J. Elders, age 69, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022 in Sebring, Florida. She was born on June 21, 1953 in Piqua, Ohio, the daughter of Joe and Joann (Griffin) Saum.  Pamela worked in bookkeeping, attended Independent Baptist Church of Sebring, and has been a resident of Sebring since 2005, coming from Ohio. Pamela enjoyed helping people. She loved any kind of children’s ministries. She formed the Red Cane Club in Highlands County, and enjoyed listening to music. Pamela loved her family and being a Yaya was her greatest joy. She is survived by her loving husband – Philip; daughters – Diana Folkner (James) of Lake Placid, Florida; Sarah Elders of Davenport, Florida; brother – Bill Saum (Gail); sister – Diana Saum. Surviving are also 3 grandchildren; Jayden, Madilynn, and Frankie. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother – David Saum. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home until service time at 6:00 PM on Friday, July 8, 2022, at  Stephenson Nelson Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Pasquarella officiating. There will be a time of fellowship and food at Independent Baptist Church of Sebring following the service. The address is 5704 County Rd 17 S, Sebring, FL 33876.
