Omer V. Cornelius, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 in Sebring, Florida. He was born July 21, 1938 in Noblesville, Indiana to the late Omer and Mary (Huffman) Cornelius, Sr. He had been a resident of the area since 2002 coming from Indiana and was a member of St. John United Methodist Church in Sebring. Omer enjoyed motorcycles and was a member of GWRRA since 1985.He also enjoyed fishing and being with friends. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Anna Sue Cornelius of Sebring, FL; Sons – Richard Cornelius (Jane) of IL; David Cornelius (Jean) of IL; Step-Children – Sheryl Schroeder (Lee) of IL; Col. Julia S. Hunt of New Orleans, LA; Jeffrey Mathis (Angela) of IN; Sister – Janet Haskett of FL; 10 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his Son, Larry Cornelius and a sister, Bertie Lou Cornelius.
