Omar Irizarry Mercado

Omar Irizarry Mercado passed away suddenly on August 31, 2017. He was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on April 30, 1977 to Jose Fernando Irizarry Figueroa and Maria Deolores Mercado Marin. He was a resident of Avon Park Florida since 2005 coming from Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. Omar was a member of the Iglesia de Dios Refugio Eterno. He enjoyed preaching, cooking, playing the Congas and video games. Omar is survived by his wife Awilda Torres, his father, Jose Fernando Irizarry Figueroa; daughters, Aures Irizarry, Yomaris Irizarry, Janalys Suarez and Jakira Chacon; and siblings; Omayra Irizarry, Omi Jose Irizarry and Odemaris Irizarry.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 4:00 PM and the funeral service will begin at 5:30 PM
