Oliver P. "O.P." Williams

Oliver P. “O.P.” Williams, age 82, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 in Asheville, North Carolina.  He was born on December 3, 1933 in Gadsden, Alabama.  O.P. was a veteran serving with the U.S. Army.  He spent his career in Golf Course Construction/Heavy Equipment Excavating.  The Williams family called Sebring home for many years.  Survivors include his daughter, Luann Street (Bryan)-Asheville, NC and son, James Teele-Okeechobee, FL, three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  O.P. was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Williams.  There will be a graveside service on Friday, January 1, 2016 at Pinecrest Cemetery beginning at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Charles George VA Medical Center, 1100 Tunnel Road, Asheville, NC 28805 ( www.asheville.va.gov )
