OLIVER DONALD MCLAUGHLIN Oliver Donald McLaughlin, 90, of Sebring, FL, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2009. He was born October 13, 1919 to Donald and Allie (Heiss) McLaughlin in Carleton, Michigan. He had been a winter resident of Sebring since 1985 and became permanent resident of Sebring in 2000 coming from Mecosta, MI. He worked as a factory worker for Ford Motor Company and was also a farmer. He attended St. John United Methodist Church in Sebring, was a member of Carleton United Methodist Church and also a member of the VFW. He served as a veteran in the U.S. Army during WWII and served 3 years in the Pacific. He is survived by his Wife, Shirley May McLaughlin Sebring; Daughter, Pamela Ellsworth Washington, D.C.; Sons, Russell McLaughlin Harpers Ferry, W.V.; Paul McLaughlin Rochester, NY; David McLaughlin Mexico; 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. John United Methodist Church in Sebring. Burial will take place at Michigan Memorial in Flat Rock, MI.
