Olan Eugene Brewer

Olan Eugene Brewer, a life-long resident of Avon Park, FL, died unexpectedly on February 16, 2014 at the age of 72 at his home residence in Avon Park FL. "Gene" is survived by his children, Shannon Gene Brewer and Candace Newsome; his granddaughter, Hannah Newsome; his brother, Hershel Brewer; his two sisters Lena Dickerson and Pam Burnham. He is predeceased by his wife Winifred Lorraine Brewer; his father, Hershel Brewer; his mother, Marie Green Brewer. Gene was born in Horatio, Arkansas on October 12, 1943. Gene was a hardworking man, a loving father, and grandfather. He did everything he did for the benefit of his family, and granddaughter Hannah Newsome. He was dedicated at his work and for 33 years did not miss one day of work. Gene traveled the word, and sailed the seven seas in his younger days while serving in the Navy, and as a Merchant Seaman. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. We all will miss you deeply Pops! Say hello to Mom, and we all will be together one day in Glory! Love You Miss You Dad!
