OEDIA MELINDA FORNEY Oedia Melinda Forney, age 93, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2012 in Sebring, Florida. She was born in Jasper, Florida on December 20, 1918 to James and Orphie Lee (Phillips) Brown. She was a Homemaker, member of the Sanctuary Church of God in Avon Park and was a resident of Avon Park since 1980 coming from Arcadia, Florida. She is survived by her son, Thomas C. Sandefur, of Texas; daughters, Linda Schwikert of West Palm Beach, Florida, Gloria Cassano of Winter Haven, Florida and Debra Cobb (Keith) of Avon Park, Florida; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Visitation - Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 12:00 P.M. with funeral services at 1:00 P.M. at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.W. Peeples and Rev. Connie Westberry officiating.
