Odell Pops Tomblin, 84, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012, at his home. He was born November 29, 1927, to Guy and Ethel (Heart) Tomblin in Reagan, Tennessee, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1968, coming from Cooter, Missouri. He was a farmer and of the Pentecostal faith. His greatest joy was his family and the time he spent with them. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Reba Tomblin; sons, Roger (Carol) Tomblin, Avon Park, FL; Jimmy (Karen) Tomblin, Ft. Pierce, FL; Gary (Wanda) Tomblin, Sebring; Ricky (Connie) Tomblin, Sebring; Randall (Cissy) Tomblin, Sebring and Steve (Lynn) Tomblin, Lake Placid; daughter, Vickie (Rick) Howton, Sebring; sister, Maxine Tomblin, Steele, MO; 23 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and many loved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Tomblin in 2004. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Rd., Sebring, FL 33870.
