Norris R. Miller

NORRIS RAY MILLER Norris Ray Miller, age 102 of Sebring, Florida, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2012 in Sebring. He was born on July 27, 1910 to Albert L. and Lily Viola (Shanower) Miller in South Milford, Indiana and had been a resident of Sebring since 1960 moving from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He and wife, Marie ran the Park Shore Motel in Sebring for 25 years. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed fishing, swimming, traveling and spending time with his wife of 73 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II and was of the Presbyterian faith. He is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Marie G. (Koontz) Miller of Sebring, and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens, with W. Mike Adams officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Rd., Sebring, FL 33870.
