Norman Lee Thomas

Norman Lee Thomas, age 50, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, June 10, 2023, in Avon Park, Florida. He was born on November 03, 1972, to George C. Thomas and Mary F. Thomas (Rudy) in Lackawanna County, PA.

Norman is Survived by his sisters; Ruby Thomas, Eva Higgins (Richard), and brothers; George Thomas Jr. (Kelly) and Leonard William (Dawn). He is Preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister Elizabeth Thomas.

Norman was described by many as a miracle, who time and time again proved others’ expectations wrong. He was known for his spirited facial expressions and positive attitude. He enjoyed watching old movies and musicals and was known to enjoy observing the people around him. He was affectionately known as “Stormy-Normie” or “Stormin’ Norman” for his vivacious spirit by his friends and family. He was a member of Grace Point Ministries; he touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held for Norman on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Avon Park with visitation beginning an hour prior. Friends and family are invited to attend.
