Norman Francis Bickford

Norman Francis Bickford, age 81, of Avon Park, FL, passed away on February 3, 2022 in Sebring, FL. He was born on September 25, 1940 in Flushing, NY to Norman Fuller Bickford and Virginia (Clayter) Bickford, also deceased.

Norman was a loving Husband, Son, Brother and Father to our family. He, like all of us, had many faces to his personality. He had a unique sense of humor, and we are left with memories that bring a smile to our faces. He had a big heart to those in need; an exemplar of generosity and compassion for others. He was also an avid collector of clocks and watches.

Towards the end of his life, he was not feeling well and could be gruff, but he always followed that behavior with gratitude, especially to his wife. He was a kind-hearted soul that was a little rough around the edges, but he was there when people needed him the most. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

Norman is survived by his Wife – Barbara Bickford of Avon Park, FL; Brother – William Bickford of Melbourne, FL; Sister – Nancy Bickford Jordan of Newberry, SC; and Daughters – Joan Bickford of Sebring, FL; Susan Bickford of Tallahassee, FL; Karen Bickford of Seffner, FL; Nancy Donovan of Tallahassee, FL; and Sherry Bartley of Sebring, FL.
