Norma M. West

Norma M. West, 81, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 in Avon Park, Florida.  She was born to the late Russell and Dorothea (Jefferis) Rhodes in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 2, 1936.  She had been a resident since 1981 coming from Turnersville, New Jersey and was a member of Christ Fellowship Church.  Norma liked to sing in the church choir.  She was a very talented cook and enjoyed cooking Italian food.  She is survived by her husband, James G. West of Sebring, Florida; children, Donna O’Mara of Frankfort, Illinois; Carole Ann Stroher of Phoenix, Arizona; Karen E. Kirk of Sicklerville, New Jersey; Lisa M. Eriksson of Sweden; Richard S. West of Sebring, Florida; grandchildren, Yvette Stahl, Keith Stroher, Jennifer Owens, Christopher Mangaro, Kelley O'Mara, Michelle Mangaro, Megan Ericksson, Kevin Eriksson and great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Owens, Carter Davidson, Connor Davidson and Christopher Matthew Mangaro, Jr.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 1:00pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, Florida with family receiving friends beginning at 12:00pm.  Burial will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery.
