Norma Lucille Walker, "The Orchid Lady", 95, passed away on June 26, 2016 at her home in Sebring, Florida. Born on May 27, 1921 in Dansville, New York, daughter of Lester and Marian Knapp and wife of Colonel Norbert L. Walker, United States Army. Norma grew up in Dansville, New York, attended college in Genesee, New York. After marriage, she lived in many places around the world including Japan, France, Germany and stateside in Augusta, Georgia, Florissant, Missouri, Longwood and Sebring, Florida. Norma claimed Florida as her home state from the 1940's. Norma was a member of Spring Lake Presbyterian Church which she loved along with her church family. She also loved her family, friends, orchids, golf and many stray cats through the years including her present spoiled fur ball, "Snowy". Norma had three children, a daughter, Susan L. Walker of Orlando, Florida (deceased), a daughter, Deborah C. Walker of Sebring, Florida and a son, Michael J. Walker of Sebring, Florida, a brother, Dr. Robert Knapp and Jean Knapp of Suffolk, Virginia and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers she request; please do not vote for Hillary Clinton.
