Norma Jean Fisher

Norma Jean Fisher, 86, of Sebring, Florida, passed away on November 18, 2024. Born May 17, 1938, in Mount Blanchard, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of the late Cloice and Delores Decker. Norma moved to Sebring in 1983, where she would create a life full of love, adventure, and dedication.

A skilled cabinet maker by trade, Norma's hands were as adept at crafting beautiful woodwork as they were at nurturing her family and building a strong community of friends. Her industrious nature and determination were hallmarks of her personality, and she inspired all who knew her.

Norma shared her life with her beloved husband, the late Donald A. Fisher, with whom she created a family legacy. She is survived by her children: Alfred "Joey" Hucke (Carol) of Finley, OH; Michael Hucke of Arrington, OH; Daniel Hucke of Clermont, FL; Nicholas Hucke (Margaret) of Sebring, FL; Joseph Shaw of Fort Wayne, IN; David Fisher (Cathy); and Teresa Jones (William) of Clermont, FL. She was also a devoted grandmother to 22 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Sherry Inbody, and her brother Ralph Decker.

Norma loved life on the road, traveling the country in an RV and creating cherished memories while camping and fishing. She also enjoyed gathering around the card table, sharing laughter and stories with loved ones. Adventurous, hardworking, and fun-loving, Norma embodied a zest for life that touched everyone she met.

Her family and friends will miss her profoundly but take comfort in the legacy she leaves behind—a testament to her unwavering determination, love, and vibrant spirit.
