Nicoletta Versace

Nicoletta Versace, age 91, of Avon Park, FL, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017.  She was born July 29, 1925 in Floyd, NY to the late Frank and Anna (Jeffelone) Coniglio.  She retired from the Rome Developmental Center where she worked as a dietary supervisor for 18 years, was a past treasurer of the Rome City School Board, member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, loved playing bingo, helping people in need and loved her family.  She has been a resident of Avon Park, FL since 1990, coming from Rome, NY.

She is survived by her children – Salvatore Versace, Jr. (Rita) of Wesley Chapel, FL; Paul Versace of Suffield, CT; Colette Versace of Sun City Center, FL; Mark Versace (Lynette) of Tuscaloosa, AL; Sisters – Kathryn Krupiarz of Rome, NY; Frances Biazzo of Chittenango, NY; Brother – Carl Coniglio of New Harford, NY; 11 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.  Nicoletta is preceded in death by her husband of whom she married October 7, 1945 – Salvatore Versace; Brothers – Joseph Coniglio, Jim Coniglio, John Coniglio, Sam Coniglio, Dominick Coniglio; Sisters – Sophie Coniglio, Mary Fabrizio, and Margaret McGurn.  Memorial services will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park.  The family would like to extend great appreciation and thanks to the entire staff of Compassionate Care Hospice and Dr. Khurana and Dr. Parnassa.  Memorial contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 2153 US 27 South, Sebring, FL  33870.
