Nelvia Rodriguez

Nelvia Rodriguez, age 89, of Lake Placid, Florida went to be with her Lord on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Nelvia was born on May 19, 1934, in Cuba to her loving parents Santos Ramirez and Trinidad Castillo. Nelvia has been a Florida resident since 1997, coming from New Jersey.

Nelvia was a kind, generous, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked hard to take care of her family. Nelvia enjoyed singing, cooking, educating young children, leading bible studies and praying for others. She was the youngest of nine children.

Nelvia is preceded in death by her parents, Brothers: Israel Ramirez, Ricardo Ramirez, Chicho Ramirez, Tuto Ramirez, Pedro Ramirez, Sisters: Elina Ramirez Rosabal, Elda Ramirez, Rosa Ramirez Somano, and grandson: Adam M. Delgado.

Nelvia is survived by her daughter: Lisette Delgado, son-in-law; Jorge Delgado, granddaughter; Bèlise Borroto, grandson; Alex Delgado (Eva Delgado), two great-grandchildren Angelise and Ethan as well as many nieces and nephews.

Nelvia touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.
