Nancy Vickers Pyle

Nancy Vickers Pyle passed away October 8, 2017 at Vitas Hospice in Sebring, Florida.  Nancy was born on June 25, 1957 to the late Marion E. and Audrey (Fegan) Vickers in West Palm Beach, Florida.  Nancy worked as a journalist for the Highlands Today newspaper and taught English at Sebring High School and Avon Park High School where she also worked on the yearbook. She enjoyed photography, reading and music.  She was an avid Florida “Gator” Fan. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sebring.  Survived by her children: Will Pyle (Katy) – Parrish, Florida; Laura Pyle – Orlando, Florida; one grandson: Tripp Pyle.  She was also survived by her brothers: Geoff Vickers (Donna) – Arkansas; Leigh Shorr (Ethel) -Illinois; John Vickers (Beth) – Sebring, Florida; Ed Vickers (Kim) – Texas and several nieces and nephews.  A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 13, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church, 126 South Pine Street, Sebring, Florida at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend David Juliano officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice, 6850 New Tampa Hwy. Suite 600, Lakeland, FL 33815
