With hearts full of love and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Nancy Nicholas Carper, a remarkable Registered Nurse, devoted mother, grandmother, and beloved soul who left us on April 28, 2026, in Madison, Florida.

Born on October 21, 1958, in Avon Park, Florida, Nancy was a shining light whose life was a testament to compassion, strength, and unwavering dedication. From an early age, she felt the call to nurture and heal through her love of animals even a pet pig, a calling she answered wholeheartedly by earning her Bachelor's degree in Nursing and dedicating her life to caring for others with gentleness and grace.

Nancy’s career was much more than a profession, it was her mission. She touched countless lives with her skill, kindness, and empathy, offering not just medical care but comfort, hope, and kindness during life’s most vulnerable moments. Her hands healed and her heart lifted, earning her the admiration and gratitude of patients, families, and colleagues alike.

Yet, Nancy’s greatest joy was found not in accolades, but in the warmth of family. She was a devoted mother to her three wonderful sons Jet and his wife Marta, Jarvis and his wife Jessica, and Jeffrey and a proud grandmother to eight precious grandchildren who brought endless light to her days. Her love was the quiet foundation of her family, a wellspring of strength and encouragement that will inspire generations to come. She was also a loving sister to Carolyn Hale, who shared in life’s journey by her side.

Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband Larry Carper, her parents, Melvin “Red” and Lillian “Toby” Nicholas, and her brothers Gary, Rocky, and Melvin Nicholas. Their memories lived on in her heart and inspired the beautiful life she led.

Nancy’s life was a tapestry woven with selflessness, kindness, and a beacon of hope and love for all who knew her. She taught us that true greatness lies in the simple acts of caring deeply and loving fully. Though she has left this world, her spirit will forever guide and inspire us to embrace life with open hearts and persevere with compassion.

As we honor Nancy’s memory, let us carry forward her legacy of generosity, humility, and enduring love for life. Though she is no longer with us in body, her light shines on brightly in every life she touched. She will be deeply missed, eternally cherished, and never forgotten.
