Nancy L Hodge

Nancy L. Hodge, age 77, of Avon Park, FL, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, November 11, 2020.  She was born February 17, 1943 in Avon Park, FL to William Wilborn and Nora Anniebelle (Albritton) Giddens.  She worked as a Para Professional for the Highlands County School Board, a member of the Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church, and a lifelong resident of Avon Park, FL.  Nancy was the driving force of her family and very much loved. She is survived by her Husband – Joseph W. Hodge of Avon Park, FL; Children – Denise Gicker of Avon Park, FL; Kyle Smith (Barbara) of Enterprise, AL; Shawn Hodge of Avon Park, FL; Cindy Mayes of Gadsden, AL; Sister – Wilma Kangeter of Avon Park, FL; Brother – Jerry Giddens of Lakeland, FL; 6 Grandchildren; and 2 Great Grandchildren.  Nancy is preceded in death by her Daughter – Sue Austin; Son – Timothy Hodge; and Sister- Marjorie Hamby.  Graveside services will be held Monday, November 16, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Bougainvillea Cemetery.
