Myrtle R. Perry

Myrtle R. Perry, age 88 passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in Sebring, Florida. She was born in Frostproof, Florida to Reuben Edwin and Anna Virginia (Jones) Raulerson. She was a homemaker, member of the Athens Baptist Church in Bereah; she enjoyed fishing, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Perry had been a lifelong resident of Polk County. She is survived by her daughter-Deborah Ward (Bob) of Jasper, Georgia and a son-Ronald Perry (Vivian) Perry of Sebring, Florida; sister-Frankie Kemp of Orlando, Florida; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Therman Perry. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 20, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park, Florida. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Athens Baptist Church in Bereah, Florida. Burial will follow in Hart Cemetery in Wauchula, Florida.
