MYRA H. McQUEEN Myra H. McQueen, 90, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011, in Sebring. She was born October 2, 1920, to Joseph and Elizabeth (Broadhurst) Hoyt in Roosevelt, New York, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1989, coming from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She had been a Secretary and was a member of Whispering Pines Baptist Church. She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Stager, Cooperstown, NY; Niece, Grace McQueen, New York, NY; nephew, Albert McQueen, Jr., Port St. Lucie, FL; nephews, Lawrence Smith and Robert Raymond and nieces, Elizabeth Wilfeard and Linda Stager. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2011, at Whispering Pines Baptist Church in Sebring. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Steve Trinkle officiating. Interment, immediately afterward, will be at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, FL. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Whispering Pines Baptist Church, 303 White Pine Drive, Sebring, FL 33871.
