Muriel D. Nelson, age 92, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 in Auburndale, Florida. She was born on February 25, 1925 in Grove City, Pennsylvania to the late Howard Patrick and Sarah Etta (McLaughlin) Wood. She moved to Sebring in 1980 from New York. Muriel received her pilot’s license, painted, did ceramics, flower arrangements for her church and enjoyed her family. Survivors include her children: Barbara Cessna, Staci Bemis and Karen Jarrett; 11 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Harold Nelson.
