Morris D. Maxwell, age, 94, of Sebring, FL passed away on September 4, 2019. He was born in McGee, MO on July 25, 1925 to Wilbur and Eva (Nott) Maxwell. Morris had been a Sebring resident since 2003, coming from Gentry, AR and was a member of the Avon Park Seventh Day Adventist Church. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII in the South Pacific. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years Marcelyn Oblander Maxwell; Children, Marilyn Asher of Deltona, FL; Maretta Fry (Kenneth) of Nemo, TX; Milly Joseph (Jim) of Monterey, CA; Marvin Maxwell (Terri) of Sebring, FL; Sisters, Beulah Gunter of Buckeye, AZ; Evelyn Sharp (Phil) of Tulsa, OK; Dorothy Hirschkorn (Lowell) of Turlock, CA; Brother, Donald Maxwell (Debbie) of Ft. Smith, AR; 9 Grandchildren; 10 Great-Grandchildren; and one Great-Great-Grandchild. A visitation will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 12:00 PM and the service will begin at 1:00 PM at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, FL. Interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, FL.
