Morris Gibbard

MORRIS GIBBARD Morris Gibbard, 81, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012, in Sebring. He was born March 13, 1930, to Russell A. and Gladys (Montney) Gibbard in Royal Oak, Michigan, and had been a resident of Sebring since 2009, coming from Standish, MI, and formerly of Clawson, MI. He was a Master Carpenter in the construction industry; was a veteran of the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany during the Korean War. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lake Josephine. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Gibbard of Sebring; sons, Russell C. (Dusti) Gibbard of Sebring and Jeffrey C. Gibbard of Birmingham, MI; brother, Kenneth G. (Lorna) Gibbard of West Bloomfield, MI; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Lake Josephine. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Rd., Sebring, FL 33870.
