Miriam Margarita Mendez

Miriam Margarita Mendez, age 65, passed away on April 28, 2024, in Sebring, FL. She was born on November 16, 1958, in Cuba, to her loving parents Eulogio Sosa and Alba Diaz. Miriam is survived by her husband, Noel J Mendez, her children Jesenia Caridad Mendez of Sebring, FL, and Joel Mendez of Lake Placid, FL, as well as one grandchild, Jesslyn Garcia.

Miriam was a caring, loving, and hardworking individual who touched the lives of all who knew her. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to her family and her community, leaving a lasting impact on those around her. As a Bank Teller Supervisor, Miriam showcased her dedication and work ethic, always striving for excellence in all she did.  A member of the Saint Catherine Catholic Church, Miriam found solace and community in her faith. She was a devoted member of her church, finding comfort and strength in her spiritual beliefs.

In her free time, Miriam indulged in her hobbies and interests. She had a passion for food and was known for her skills in the kitchen as a great cook. She also enjoyed dancing and tending to her orchids, finding joy in nurturing her garden. Above all, Miriam treasured her role as a mother and grandmother. Her granddaughter was the light in her eyes, and she loved her endlessly.

Miriam will be remembered for her infectious happiness, and her unwavering love for those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and kindness that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

The funeral service to honor Miriam's life will be held at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home on Sebring Parkway in Sebring, FL. Details of the funeral date and time will be shared with friends and family soon.
