Mildred "Millie" T. Toddings

Mildred “Millie” T. Toddings, age 84, of Sebring, FL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Born on April 4, 1940, in Kimberly, WI, she was the cherished daughter of the late Norbert and Violet Van Roy.

Millie is lovingly remembered by her children, Russell Plamann, Jr. (Sue) of Tennessee, Timothy Plamann (Pamela) of Michigan, and Scott Plamann; her eight grandchildren, Lynette Cooper, Sandy Hill, Monica Smith, Russell Plamann, Tammy Rockwell, Heather Plamann, Jill Plamann, and Elizabeth Plamann; five great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Marlene Van Roy; and many cherished nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Adrian Van Roy; her sisters, Ceill Dorn (Leo), Kathy Van Roy, and Julia Mesun (Mike); and her very special friend, Lorin Vanbrookhoven.

Millie was known for her dedication and hard work, spending many years at Publix Super Market, where she brightened the deli department with her friendly and dependable presence. Beyond her career, Millie had a zest for life that was evident in her passions. She was a talented artist and enjoyed crafting, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her creativity and skill. Bowling and traveling brought her joy. Millie will be remembered for her ability to connect with others. Above all, Millie was a proud mother and devoted grandmother, cherishing every moment spent with her family.

She will be deeply missed by those who loved her and will be remembered for her humor, generosity, and kind heart. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at 4:00 pm at the Highlands Hammock State Park in the Alligator Pavilion.
