Mildred Lee Hathaway, age 90, of Lake Placid, Florida, passed away August 10, 2026. She was born December 5, 1935 in Bonifay, Florida to Tilton Isaiah and Rossie Lee (Ellis) Wells. She was a Homemaker and has been a lifelong resident of Lake Placid, Florida. Mildred is survived by her Children – Ronald Hathaway, Jr. (Debra); Keith Hathaway (Rena); Melinda Brown (Robert); Vaughn Hathaway (Hilary); Ryan Hathaway (Alyssa); Sister – Barbara Cross; Brother – Lawrence Wells (Cynthia); 9 Grandchildren; and 9 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Parents and Husband – Ronald Hathaway, Sr. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM with family receiving friends beginning at 10:00 AM at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, Florida. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
