Michael Ray Simpkins

Michael Ray Simpkins passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026 with his wife of 46 years, Susan, by his side. He was born on October 23, 1948 in Mingo County, Matewan, West Virginia, one of eight children of the late Samuel Ray and Opal Simpkins. Other than his wife, he is survived by daughter, Sheila Nicholas (Neil), step-son David Boyce, grandson, Ryan Sigler (Logan), great grandchildren, Savannah Marx, Jamey Ray Sigler, sister Paula Frank (David), a special aunt Joan Griffin, and numerous other family members. Per Mike’s wishes, he is being cremated, and there will be no services.
