Michael Allen Loomis

Michael Allen Loomis, age 40, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on March 15, 1975 in Gastonia, North Carolina to Dwight and Camilla (Smith) Loomis. Michael has been a resident of Avon Park since 1997 having come from Dunedin, FL. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Avon Park and the Chorus Director of Frostproof Middle Senior High School. Michael is survived by his wife, Joy Loomis, son, Christopher Loomis, daughter, Hannah Loomis of Avon Park; parents, Dwight and Camilla Loomis of Wesley Chapel, FL; and brother, Jonathan Loomis of Dunedin, FL. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Avon Park. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Avon Park. A private family graveside service will be held at Bougainvillea Cemetery.
