Michael Shane Lillpop

Michael Shane Lillpop, age 55, of Avon Park, Florida passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023.  He was born February 17, 1968 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Gary and Mary (Best) Lillpop.  He grew up and graduated at Avon Park High School and has been a lifelong resident of Avon Park, Florida.  Shane was a boat builder for Wellcraft Marine, Lake and Bay, most recently Pacer Boats.  He was a Florida State Seminole fan, enjoyed fishing, feeding his squirrels, spending time with his buddies, visiting family in Indiana and going to Gatlinburg.  Shane is survived by his Wife – Linda Lillpop of Avon Park, FL; Mother and Step-Father – Mary Bunner (Mark) of Rockport, IN; Daughter – Sharon Justin of Melbourne, FL; his favorite dog – Chichi; Sisters – Shelly Brown of Rockport, IN; Misty Lillpop of Rockport, IN; Brother – Brad Lillpop of Rockport, IN; and many Nieces, Nephews, and cousins.  He was loved by many friends that he considered family.  He is preceded in death by his Father – Gary Lillpop; Grandparents – Norman and Betty Lillpop.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM with family receiving friends beginning at 10:00 AM at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Bougainvillea Cemetery.
