Michael Patrick Fitzgerald

Michael Patrick Fitzgerald, age 63, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023 in Orlando, Florida. He was born on August 31, 1959 in Hialeah Hospital in Hialeah Florida to Nicholas Joseph and Nan Anderson (Reid) Fitzgerald. Mike worked as a Bio-Medical Technician for multiple South Florida hospitals for many years. Mike was raised in the Catholic faith. He has been a resident of Sebring for 5 years, having come from Plantation, Florida. Mike proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Iran hostage crisis from 1980 - 1984. His hobbies included riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, camping, boating, golf cart riding and hanging out with friends.   He liked to watch college football and cheered for the Miami Hurricanes.  In addition, he liked to attend and watch Florida Panthers Hockey. Mike loved to travel, taking multiple cruises over the years.  He was a member of the South Florida Keltics Motorcycle Club for 10 years.  Mike is survived by his loving wife – Denise; sons – Anthony Joseph Fitzgerald (Mayra); Michael Ryan Fitzgerald (Rachel Van Note); Carey Binning (Ami); brother – Tom Murphy; sisters – Mary Ann Blackman (Salem); Kathy Rushnak. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren – Benjamin Anthony Fitzgerald and Jonathan Alexander Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday April 15, 2023 at 529 Entrada Ave, Sebring Florida.
