Michael Gary Card

Michael Gary Card, age 64, of Sebring, FL, passed away on December 1, 2024. Born on March 4, 1960, in Newton, NJ, Michael was the beloved son of the late Charles and Louisa (Dolly) Card.

Michael was the owner of M & L Construction doing roofing and siding in Sussex County, NJ for decades. Known for his unwavering dedication and work ethic, Michael approached every task with a level of responsibility and care that earned him the trust and respect of all who knew him.

A devoted partner, father, grandfather, and brother, Michael’s greatest joy came from the time he spent with his family. He is survived by his longtime partner, Tanya Pierson; his cherished daughter, Laura Ann Card of Port Orange, FL; and his two grandchildren, Kayla Jones (Cash) and Lindsey Silvero, also of Port Orange, FL. He is survived by his brothers, Richard Card and Chuck Card; sisters, Wanda Nicholson and Judy Card; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Michael had a special bond with his dog, Scooby, and his beloved cats, Sampson and Delilah, who brought him comfort and companionship.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Charles and Louisa; his brother, Robert Card; and his sisters, Charlene Kristensen, Rocky Card, Terry Casterlin and Patty Card.

Michael had a deep love for music and was a talented guitarist, delighting in playing Southern Rock and Blues.

Michael’s legacy of love and dedication will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
