Merl "Red" Morrow, 80, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013, in Avon Park. He was born March 29, 1932 to Merl and Pauline P. (Davis) Morrow in Goshen, Indiana and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1992, coming from Michigan. He was a Public School Custodian and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during Peacetime. He was a member of the American Legion; enjoyed woodworking and carving and was of the Christian faith. He is survived by his sons, David Morrow, Michigan; Robert Morrow, Idaho and Doug Morrow, Idaho; daughters, Bonnie (Ed) Hill, Indiana and Cathy (Chet) Neal, Michigan; step-brother, Wayne Stringfellow, Indiana; step-sister, Arena Gingerich, Indiana; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Morrow. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, Texas 75284-0692.
