Melvin R. Mckenzie

Melvin Ray McKenzie, age 72, of Sebring, FL, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017.  He was born October 31, 1944 in Huntington, WV to the late William Carl and Mable Ruth (Stevenson) McKenzie.  He worked as an exterminator for pest control, attended Whispering Pines Baptist Church, loved spending time with his family and friends, and has been a resident of Sebring, FL since 1978, coming from Melbourne, FL.  Survivors include his Wife – Sandy McKenzie of Sebring, FL; Sons – Kenneth McKenzie of Ohio; Kevin McKenzie of Ohio; Daughters – Kimberly O’Connor (Robert) of Sebring, FL; Rebecca Townsend (Darren) of Sebring, FL; Brother – Vern McKenzie of Sebring, FL; Sisters – Faye Morrow of Kentucky; Geraldine Preston of Kentucky; 8 Grandchildren; and 4 Great Grandchildren.  Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Marcus Marshall officiating.
