MELVIN CARL ADDISON Melvin Carl Addison, 65, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Monday, December 5, 2011, in Tampa, FL. He was born December 26, 1945, to Ryan and Evelyn (Hudleston) Addison in Memphis, Tennessee, and had been a resident of Sebring since 2002, coming from Toledo, Ohio. He was an Electrician and enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar and singing karaoke. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Hull of Sebring; sons, Bill LaGro, Pennsylvania and Larry (April) LaGro, Ohio; daughters, Sherry (John) Risner, Ohio; Dawn Halleck, California and Faith (Bud) Dennette, Sebring; step-children, Robin (Doug) Martin, Sebring; Annette (Jeffery) Robb, Sebring and Raymond (Jo) Rager, Pennsylvania; 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Addison. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2011, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, with Mike Adams officiating. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
