Melinda Lynn Armstrong

Melinda Lynn Armstrong, age 55, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024 in Sebring, Florida.  She was born January 2, 1969 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Gordon C. and Ruby Lee (Akers) Armstrong.  She was a member of the Independent Baptist Church, the Lighthouse Vision Loss Education Center, and the Red Cane Support Group.  Melinda loved her church family where she was the missions’ secretary.  She was very sociable and loved missions work.  She greatly enjoyed spending her time teaching Sunday school and Vacation Bible school.  Melinda is survived by her Husband – Robert Hoggatt.  Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her Brothers – Tim and Anthony; Sisters – Johnnie and Marlene.  A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 6:00pm at Independent Baptist Church of Sebring.
