Maurice Lagasse

Maurice Lagasse, age 83, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 in Tampa, Florida. He was born on October 30, 1932 in Fall River, Massachusetts.  He and his wife moved to Sebring in 1990. He was a Catholic by Faith.  Maurice enjoyed working in his yard but his favorite past-time was spending time with family.  Survivors include his wife, Georgette A. Lagasse; daughter, Joanne Lagasse both of Sebring, FL and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Merrill E. and Alexina (Audet) Lagasse.  There will be a memorial mass at St. Catherine Catholic Church on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 10:30 am with Father Jose Gonzalez officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: Highlands County Humane Society, 7321 Haywood Taylor Blvd., Sebring, FL 33876 ( www.humanesocietyofhighlandscounty.com )
