Maryellen Drawdy

Maryellen Drawdy, born on April 6,1961, in Fort Myers, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, in Sebring, Florida.

In 1995, Maryellen made Sebring her home, where she spent the years of her life surrounded by family. She had a deep faith in Christ and a deep love of being a grandmother. She found great joy in preparing traditional Southern meals that brought comfort to others and in improving her knowledge of holistic and natural health and helping others with that knowledge.

She is survived by her daughters, Dawn West of Sebring, Florida, and Mandy Casey (Jeremy) of Charleston, South Carolina. Maryellen also leaves behind her sister Brenda Gilliam of Lake City, Florida; siblings on her father's side; and cherished grandchildren Sawyer, Evangeline, Beau, Florence, Gerard, and Maren.

Maryellen's legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured and the traditions she lovingly passed down. A visitation will be held on August 17, 2025, at 2:00 pm and followed by a Memorial Service at 2:30 pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home.  4001 Sebring Parkway Sebring FL 33870.
