Mary Anne Winner

Mary Anne Winner, 78 of 510 Elgin St., Sebring, FL, died 3:41a.m. at home.

Born May 11, 1944 in Beckley, WV, she was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas A. Winner and Teresa Dunkley Winner.

Ms. Winner was a graduate of Furman University and obtained her master’s degree in Education from Marshall University. She was an educator in Raleigh and Mercer counties for over 33 years. She was an Episcopalian and will be remembered as an avid horsewoman. She is survived by Marcia Winner-Lao (Eladio) of Sebring, FL and five nieces and nephews.

The body will be cremated, and a Memorial Mass will be held 11:00a.m.  Saturday, September 3 at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Beckley.
