Mary Bernice Thompson, age 86 passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012 in Sebring, Florida. She was born in Sylvesta, Georgia on March 20, 1926 to Homer N. and Bernice (Jenkins) Fowler. Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker, of the Baptist faith, a devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed crocheting, quilting, cooking and spending time with her family and friends, she lived for her family. She is survived by her sons-Ronnie Thompson (Wanda) of Ft. Meade, Florida and Rodney Thompson (Jackie) of Ft. Meade, Florida; daughters-Bonnie Anderson (John) of Riverview, Florida, Linda Wooldridge (Ken) of Georgia, Gwendolyn Thompson of Lake Wales, Florida, Brenda Price (Skip) of Riverview, Florida, Carol Willoughby (Scott) of Temple Terrace, Florida and Becky Bronson (Bud) of Frostproof, Florida; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 66 years Grady F. Thompson. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park with funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. with Rev.
