Mary Lucille Collins Tate, age 85, of Avon Park, FL, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020.  She was born December 25, 1934 to David Collins and Elois Coney Collins. Mary was a homemaker, member of The Church of Christ of Avon Park and a resident since 1954 having moved from Magnolia, Mississippi. She is survived by Daughters-Velma Tate Blaine (Ealie); Mary Dasher (Sam); Eloise Shannon; Henrietta Lucas; Maxine Tate (Earl); Son-Thad E. Tate, Jr.; Sisters- Della Mae Martin; Ella Mae Collins; Barbara Campbell; Brother James Earl Collins. A Memorial Service will be held at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park, FL on Saturday, August 22, at 12:30 PM. Viewing from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Social distancing and masks are required. Due to COVID-19, private service for immediate family only.
