Mary Sproule

Mary Sproule, age 94, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014 in Sebring, Florida. She was born on December 31, 1919 in Marion, Indiana to the late Charles and Hazel (Thomason) Simons. Mary had been a resident of Sebring since 2009 coming from Anderson, South Carolina. She was a member of Sebring Parkway Church of Christ where she was very faithful and loved Bible study. In her spare time Mary enjoyed embroidery, crafts and gardening, but most especially she enjoyed spending time with her family. Mary is survived by her son: David Edward Sproule (Elizabeth)-Anderson, SC; daughters: Rebecca Sue Lowe (Arnold, Jr.)-Sebring, FL; Martha Carolyn Chisholm (Donald)-Chambersburg, PA; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years: William Edward Sproule. There will be a funeral service on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, 10:00am, at Sebring, Parkway Church of Christ with Kevin Patterson and David Sproule, II officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30am. Burial will take place at 3:00pm following the service at Lake Worth Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL.
